Is Green to be the new Black? Would eco fashion stand at the forefront
of design?
'Eco Chic' Fashion design exhibition aims to answer these questions and address the preconceived link of Eco fashion as compromising, be it in style or quality. More so it emphasizes that it can be as glamorous, experimental and innovative as fashion must be. A pool of Designers from countries such as Greece, UK and many more set out to use Eco friendly, recycled and recyclable materials, vintage pieces and their unlimited imagination to create evening dresses and accessories in order to prove that Eco fashion can be chic and inspirational. Green Design Festival will host the exhibition, which highlights that Fashion and environmental awareness are two concerns that can sit comfortably together.

"Intergenia"
Where is our data center

The new state of the art Datacenter company Intergenia, Datadock, located in Strasbourg, France and is the most environmentally friendly datacenter in Europe.

It started operation in summer 2010, after 3 years of planning and construction at a cost of over € 17 million. It has already won 2 awards, the eco Internet Award 2010 (German Association of Internet Business) category datacenters and the certificate of quality 5 * Datacenter Star Audit (DSCA) for reliability, security and energy efficiency facilities.

Reliability of the Data Center of the company "Intergenia" guaranteed by the following:
 
• 24 / 7 monitoring of the facilities by security personnel and cameras. Sophisticated access to the facilities installed and ensures that only authorized people can come into contact with the equipment.
 
• 2 different and independent power supply circuits are connected to each server (rack). Moreover, each rack is supported by 2x16 Ampere.
 
• N +1 or 2N architecture of a backup generator. The latest technology, low emission diesel generators the company MTU, ensure the smooth operation of the servers in case of power failure. Two oil tanks total capacity of 26000 liters can feed comfortably generators and refueled while running.
 
• Green cooling system. The system exploits the low temperature of groundwater flows in the region (12 °) for maintaining the temperature of the plant through an environmentally friendly system that achieves greater efficiency in Europe. 1.21 PUE (Power Usage Efficiency).
